To have a romantic date with my special someone is what I always dreamt of. And if I were to ask where, I would rather choose the island province of Camiguin. It is the second smallest province here in the Philippines. Do you get the idea? Less people, less disturbances. That is what I am trying to to point out here. Camiguin island is said to be “born of fire” because this province has seven volcanoes. The characteristics of fire will symbolize our burning passion. Beside, this island is known for its beautiful sceneries. It would be lovely to have a date with my partner with pure nature surrounding us.

Sitting under the sky watching the sun hiding behind those marvelous mountains and waiting for the moon to take its place is a perfect scene for a romantic date. Sounds of crickets and rustling of leaves will make the ambiance very tranquil.
A round table made of bamboo is what I want with only one candle in the middle of the table but I love to see more candles around us. Petals of roses were also scattered around us making us the center of all. For our meal, I preferred steak with enough garnishes. I will choose the best rice wine instead of buying the expensive ones to match up the setting. Intrumental background music is playing while we’re exchanging sweet thoughts.

After eating, we will dance to romantic music. This is the time I will express all my feelings to him. I will show how much I love him. The moon and stars will be the witness to this overflowing love.
That moment will be magical. There will be harmony and love will fill the air. We will start building castles in our dreams.
But all these were very impossible. I will not going to have a date with the guy I love.
“Dreams are my reality, the only kind of real fantasy
Illusions are a common thing, I try to live in dreams
It seems as if it’s meant to be.
Dreams are my reality, a different kind of reality
I dream of loving in the night and loving seems alright
Although it’s only fantasy.”
These are excerpts from the song entitled “Reality” performed by Richard Sanderson. All of these are just fantasies and these fantasies are my reality. Sad but true.
